Very nice setup! I've had a carpc in my Evo for quite a few years now. I recently re-did the setup again, but I went PC route, instead of MAC. My main concern was to keep radio, so I used a Directed HD1000 radio as well (mp3car sells a cable to control it via the PC).

Like was mentioned in the thread a few times...www.mp3car.com is a great resource to learn how to do this.

These are pretty old videos and pretty crappy (took them with my phone), but it gives a quick idea of the setup...very similar to yours. I guess great minds think alike. I have these posted in another thread somewhere, but figured I would add them to the discussion.
