I want to put a stereo system in. I had one in my last truck. But now the evo needs some tunes. Price budget is 1k dollars. I need a headunit, speakers front and rear, sub and box, wiring, and an amp. I just want quality. Clear and clean. What should I get, remember I'm a Newby

 

Very hard to do in this car. Is your Evo stock? If not, I'd suggest an Alpine 102/105, depending on your needs, and any of the amplifiers from the CT9A amp thread driving the stock speakers. FWIW, I have an Arc Audio 4050 for sale. If you want to improve the sound quality further, seal and deaden the doors. This is a good place for wire.
