I have a keenwood HU trying to hook it up in my 04 ssl. There are 2 rears 2 doors and 2 tweeters. The kenwood only has 4 channels how do I hook up all the speakers properly?

 

You got to get an adapter to go from the amp to RCA to the HU.

Wait, what? He has a stock SSL system with an aftermarket HU. Where does an outboard (active) x-over come into the picture? How would he even wire one with just the deck? If you're talking passive, how would it work, given the nature of the drivers?

 

was thinking passive. being an aftermarket deck it should be ok, bypass amp

 

Where will one find a passive to match the stock speakers?
