Anybody make block off plates for USDM rear bumper side markers?

Instead of going JDM rear, I was also thinking of going with a diffuser and keeping the USDM rear bumper. One thing I dont like about the USDM rear is the side marker lights. Does anyone make a paintable block off plate for the USDM rear bumper side lights?

you could get an old bumper(doesn't really matter what kind) cut some templates. plastic weld them in. sand down. fill with body filler. prime. paint.... if you need help let me know(local'ish") i have shaved may bumpers in the vw community.

I would be more than interested in your help. Could we even use the stock sidemarkers since they appear to be flat? Just fill em in and repaint?

i have tried that and tends to not work the best(plastics have to be very similar, and i have had them pop out and crack) basically your fusing the two by melting them together. the light fixture isn't quite the right stuff. i have some extra plastics from bumpers i have around(donors for shaving) i will make a template from my car and cut them out and whenever works for you...doesn't take too long. just removing the bumper, fusing, filler, sand, then prime. paint can be done by a shop of your choice...

when i shaved the lower ducts on my mk3 jetta, you could have hit that part of the bumper with a hammer and it wouldn't have cracked or anything.
