I've heard other people complain about radio reception in their EVO, I have an 05 SSL and it sucks. Other cars stations come in clear, while in the EVO it is clear one second and static fuzz the next.

Wonder if an HD radio would be better an fix it? Anyone have HD radios in there evo and notice an improvement? Or is it still shotty?

 

my hd radio goes in and out just like the factory one did. it will go to full bar reception to zero reception constantly. the only difference is it doesnt get all fuzzy like stock did it just gets quieter and the lyrics get out of sync but i can live with that.

 

Hd radio will not help with lack of reception, you are still recieving the same signals just a better quality sound.
