Not getting 12v on ECU
Not getting 12v on ECU
My friends and I are almost finishing a ground up EVO9 build. Its been almost a year since the car has not been started. I installed an AEM EMS series 2 and the engine started and ran great. So we decided to finish some last minute details before a street tune and we started to get a problem.
Sometimes the engine starts. After spending a couple of minutes tuning idle, later the engine wont start. By that i Mean It cranks but we didint hear the Fuel pump priming and the engine does not have spark. I called AEM Support and they wanted me to verify if i was getting 12v on the ECU. I verify It and theres no power there.
First it was a random problem now is permanent. the car wont start since the ecu is not receiving power. We checked All fuse and relays and the are fine. Im trying to get a full evo 9 wiring diagram on the net but wont find it.
Had anyone have a similar problem that could help out?

i just had that problem check all the chassis grounds in the engine bay and double check the fuses the one that was blowing on me was the engine one number 8 i believe oh yea and make sure your rear o2 sensor is not grounding out and double check your harness for shorts.
Thanks for the reply, will try that tomorrow. I haven't touch any engine chassis ground and it was working fine. I will add a ground to the intake manifold since i installed a Magnus Cast Manifold. I have an AEM Wideband on my rear o2
