help with stock radio!!!

so a friend and i were installing my gauges and when the radio was pulled the little ribbon thats attached to it and goes to the hazard button ripped out of the radio so now my radio doesnt work... went to mitsubishi and they said i needed a new radio (1100 bucks) and so i went to an audio shop they said if i get a new strip you can fix it only problem is i cant find the strip anywhere... anyone have any idea where i can get one?

or is there anyone who may have swapped their stock head unit to an after market and maybe wants to sell me their strip?

An electronics wholesaler sells them. I'm an electrcian and I had a similar problem at work with a machine. I know that where I live there's a store here called B and E electronics and I'm pretty sure their all over north America. If you no luck finding one pm me with the info of how many wires in the ribbon and how long you need it and I can pick some up and ship it to you.
