Swapping in an JDM Evo Cluster into a USDM Evo 8.

I own a Evo 8 that I imported to Canada. I want the cluster to read in kms, so I am going to source a JDM cluster. All the JDM evos have the ACD lights etc. Can I just plug and play? Wiring? Are there any issues when running an ACD cluster on a non ACD car? Thanks for any help, info or links to a thread I might have missed in my search.

I would believe that the ACD button would not interfere with any of the systems within the non-ACD evo because its just a switch that sends a response to the ACD ECU.

Just tried it and it works without problems. So, Yes a JDM cluster will work in a USDM Evo 8 (thats the car I put it into).

I can source JDM Evo 1 - 9 clusters quite easily if anyone is interested. Prices depend on how much I need to pay for them. I can get a 7 (same as 8/9 ACD) for 220NZD currently.

Evo 4 and 5 are white. 7/8/9 are all the same, red on black. Any white 7/8/9s will be aftermarket add ons I think.

300 km/h (180 mph) Speedometer, 10,000 rpm Tachometer.
Discontinued.
Definitely not stock.

I can get stock ones from wreckers easily. Trying to find those ones will likely be as difficult as it is for you guys.

Bump from the dead but I did see this:

Which means there is a market somewhere that had kmh bigger than mph as OEM. As in no need for the ralliart one just for this purpose. Anyone know which market it was and how hard it would be to get it?
