Hey guys I've got a pioneer premium headunit in my EVO VIII. The previous owner has some sort of Iphone dock (not the headphone wire) and I've been having issues for the last year now. I've learned how to work the phone so that it plays until now..here's my issue.

To get the iphone playing through the headunit..I normally have to play something on the ipod app and then plug it in and it starts playing through the headunit and that's fine for just the Ipod. To play anything from Pandora...you would have to use the above step and THEN push play on Pandora.

Now that I have started using Spotify, I've used the same technique and it works for 1 song but as soon as the next song starts it pauses. If I push play it starts the music from Ipod. Can't seem to get more than 1 song to play in a row.

Any Ipod/Iphone gurus on here to help me out? It's getting on my nerves
