MR Console in GSR swap

Has Anyone replaced their stock 5-speed console that goes around the shifter for one of a 6 speed. If so, were there any fitment issues with the boot or anything. I'd like to do the swap and replace the MR badge with a CF Evolution badge. Any help would be aprreciated.

yes,the plastic piece on the bottom of the mr boot hits the 5 speed shift assembly and pushes it up...but its possible to carefully grind/cut it to make it fit..

People say that....but mine doesn't (MR with 5spd swap). One thing that you'll need to figure out is the shift boot. The 6spd boot doesn't really fit the 5spd shifter.
