How to test older car audio equipment?

In my younger days, I was very involved with car audio systems. It's been the better part of 10 years since I powered up any of my amps and they've just been collecting dust in my garage. Realizing that I'm not going to do anything with them, I would like to test them, make sure they still work and try to get rid of them

Is there any simple way to test amplifiers without wiring them up to my car? My audio system in my Evo is completely stock and I would prefer not to start hooking into anything.

I have 2 Rockford Fosgate amps... an 800a and a 250a.

Any ideas how to test them to see if they still work without actually installing them?

yeah. Pay someone to bench test them. In Indy it's like $5-15. It's that simple. Call car audio shops locally and ask for their prices. Good luck.
