bulk head cover removal
i have been considering removing the bulkhead cover behind the rear seat to allow some air cicrulation into the trunk. i am not going to remove the rear seat, but just the cheesey cover that is inbetween the back of the rear seat and the opening of the trunk.
any ideas? my amp keeps going into thermal back there and its always hot as hell in the trunk. im thinking about moving the amp to under the passenger seat cuz there is enough room to mount it there and have space around it for air.
thanks!

Do you have a fan on it? That was the only way I could keep my old system's cool. My last fan was neat as it was low profile and the same height as the amp. Worked great when my amp rack was behind the seat of my Ext Cab.

i dont have a fan on it, but im curious on how to mount one without an amp rack. if the fan works then yeah i will do that but i havent been able to figure out how to mount it
Our first design was just to cut a board out in a C shape the with of the amp. Cut a hole in the middle and mount a 80mm fan in it. We painted it white to match the amp and used the gold fan cover to match the trim. That worked for that setup. You could mount you a thin board under the amp and mount the fan to teh side. Every amp is different and you want to try and get as much air flow over the sink or over the board its self.
