My ignition is different from my door lock. Key only works for ignition. Can't use it on doors or trunk. (Different locks) what I want to know is their any way that a locksmiths can make a key that will fit both ignition n door locks even though they are different?

 

i dont think so. but you have added security with 2 keys. why make it easier?

Yes you can make a separate key for just the doors and trunk. All the locks in the evo are 10 cut. Remove the passenger door handle then lock cyl.. Take to a locksmith. I believe the key blank is a MIT14.
Or you can remove the 3 locks and have them rekeyed to the ign key.

 

Thinking of removing 3 locks n having them redone for the ignition. What would be a descent price for a job like this does anybody know?
