power source needed
i need a power source that turns on with the ignition/acc, and has power while the motor is cranking. it does me no good if it loses power while cranking the motor.
i have been asking over and over again and am not getting any responses, so i will try here

There are several of them. I don't know off the top of my head but if you just plug it in before you crank the car all the way over you will find it really quickly. I picked a fuse location that didn't have anything plugged in and it doesn't power on while on ACC but does if the key is to the ON position and when the car is on as well.
You can also tap into the radio harness if you feel like cutting wires.

it looks like a great idea, but i dont want to sit there all day trying to find a source in the fusebox that has power during cranking. i really am trying to make this easy as possible
Ever blown a fuse and had to replace it? It is the same amount of time and effort.
It takes all of 2 seconds to plug and unplug, the fuse box location is beside your knee in the drivers seat.

well, because the aem gauges zero everytime you turn on the ignition, they require a source of power that will stay on during the cranking of the motor. otherwise, since the power source is switched with the ignition and turns off during cranking, it will try to zero again after power is restored. only problem is the motor is running, which means that the gauge is zeroing with an incoming signal, making the gauge read wrong.
