Defi Gauge Dilemma

Hey guys, I recently purchased my first Evo, and the PO had gotten about half way through installing a triple gauge cluster in the dash. I have a set of 3 Defi Advance BF gauges. Problem is that the gauges have no sending units or control module (advance BF unit). I would like to get them all working but I cant tell if it would be worth it to buy a whole new set of gauges (Non Defi, maybe glow shift with sending units) or to just order the missing components for the defi's. From the research I did the prices are as follows for the components:
Control Module: $199
Oil Pressure $195
Oil Temp $99
Water Temp $99
Harness $30 qty. 3

Unless you are really strapped for money, you might as well just get parts (maybe secondhand) that you mentioned since you own 3 gauges. Their quality is worth it anyway. Glowshift is nowhere in the same league as Defi.

I agree with you on the the quality, I have a Glow shift boost gauge and it is quite hard to read in daylight. I just wanted some reassurance that it was not a waste of money. I had considered selling the gauges but I don't know if they are worth much by them selves.

I'd rather buy a Defi or other quality gauge once than a cheap one twice.

Also, I'll buy your Defi's you're going to get rid of them (if they're 52mm)

I think I am just going to bite the bullet and get the parts I need to run the Defi's. They are the 60mm gauges anyways.
