Alternator problems please help!!!!!

So I have a 03 evo I Took the motor out to do a rebuild do to a sun rod bearing alternator was working perfect put motor back in car alternator took a crap, went and got a new one and it will not charge the battery seems like it's not getting a power signal I did take it out and had it tested and it's good has anyone had this issue before? Thanks for the help

On your battery terminal under the red cap there is a fusable link marked 100a that could be blown, that would cause the alternator not to be able to charge the battery.

Could be the fuse or your connector isn't fully connected, or my problem was my b+ wire burnt up so it wasn't charging the battery so I just ran a new 00 ga wire and that fixed it.

Agree with Fuse blown or crusty wire problem, and check to make sure the connector is not all corroded and the male side has straight prongs not bent over or broken, it happens. lol
