Well I am going to be driving my Evo 8 this winter. I have a older pc680 that is not liking this cold weather in northeast Ohio. I am contemplating buying another pc680, just thinking even with a new one I can't count on it starting in this weather. Anyone ever find another battery that fits the Buschur mini tray that is more reliable? And doesn't cost $400+ haha?

 

Dont have much to offer but Im on my 2nd PC680 & Im really impressed w/the longevity of the battery. I live in So.Cal so not a cold weather tester.
As far as cost make sure youre not paying more than $110 for the 680

Maybe due to where you live, you should consider a battery relocate to the trunk

 

That's what I'm contemplating. I live close to a summit racing, I'm gonna go up there and see if I can get another style oddessy that has more than 170 CCA. Braille looks like they may have one comparable in size, but puts out 575cca at zero degrees.

 

Im using an XS power S680. Had it on for about a year now since my Odyssey pc680 crapped out. It stood up to chicago winter just fine.
