Footwell Illumination

So the option from Mitsubishi is quite expensive. We have just did an illumination for a 14 Genesis and 15 STi. Now I'm going to attempt a DIY for the 14 Evo X.

Mitsubishi wants a ******** for the illumination and labor. I'm going to do this under $15 with L.E.D. so.. a DIY is coming soon ! I think there is already a DIY for Lancers. Might be ricey but I love the look on STi's so lets see if this can work for Evo X.

If anyone has already attempt this, could you please chime in?

Not the best picture but you get the idea
I have the power hooked up to my interior lights. So I could have the control to dim them incase to bright. Also have all my interior lights upgraded to bright red LEDs.

Oh not a evo x btw lol. This was way before I had got my aem digital gauges. So those match perfect with rest of the theme.

I don't think bright lighting like in that picture would look very good, however a very subtle lighting might

Please!

All i ever see on this forum is people busting other peoples Ideas. get over yourselves and let people express their ideas. If you have something to say that's negative go somewhere else unless its constructive criticism.

I did this man.. I DO have the Illumination package already. It is PERFECT soft ultra blue lighting. Then i added ultra blue led lights to all of my doors so when i open my doors they turn on with ultra blue lighting. Very very nice. it took me 3 weeks to figure out how to do the wiring. Now that i know i could probably do it in 1 day.

Agree. That's why I usually suggest neon tubes vs led's for the interior.
