Need wiring help with AEM UEGO!!

Hello i have a 2006 Evo 9 SSL with factory HID. I just installed a AEM UEGO Wideband as per instructions. However i am having trouble finding a switchable power source (12V ignition power) that doesn't not shut off when starting the engine. I have scoured the forum for a decent answer but have found very little. After turning the key to ignition the Wideband calibrates; however when you start the engine the power is cut for a split second therefore defeating the calibration of the gauge. I need a 12V source that does not cut out, i have a add-a-fuse and have tried many fuses but they all cut out! Please help! If i can not use the add-a-fuse someone direct me to the wire i can tap that is strong enough to power my gauges....

Well pretty much during cranking the only thing that has power is the ignition switch, and ecu. so you could tap into the ignition power wire

Check your meter wiring, there is some safe options there. I don't have a schematic handy, but I used a meter wire, picked up in the kick panel, it was red/yellow if I recall.
Most IG1 powered wires should be fine, IG1 stays hot in the Start position.
