more headlight issues

trying to adjust my passenger side low beam....

ok so bent the metal tab back and put a screw driver in and starting slowly turning it counter clockwise with the lights off and it wasnt working, so i tried unscrewing the black cable to see if it was causing a snag and still nothing. i turned the lights on and tried it to see if the motor would try to autocorrect and it wasnt moving...is something else that could be to get them to move?

When I adjusted my HIDs I couldn't get it to move my sticking a screw driver in there, felt like I was going to strip the gear. After taking off the black cable, I pulled off the gear and found a socket that fit in there and wouldn't turn until I sprayed some electrical cleaner in the part you stick the screwdriver in. Try cleaning it first and try the screwdriver, if it doesn't work try the socket on the cable.

Where you tried sticking the screwdriver the first time right under the bracket you bent. I couldn't get anything to move until I sprayed cleaner in there.
