Hi Folks, please!

I installed a new head unit using the mitah and power harness adapter, and intend to keep the factory infinity amp... but now its not working because it has no power!

I checked the remote wire, at the amplifier, its reading 12v
I checked the 20 amp fuse under the hood(#24), also reading 12 v... (I also tried a fuse change)
here is where things get a bit weird-

I checked the 12v+ wires that power the amp (Pins #6/16) both are reading 2-5v with a multi meter. While metering #6 for a voltage change, I touched a test light on #16 to create a small load, it dropped to 0v.
Its like i have an extremely high resistance, and not an open circuit?

I'm having a hard time finding where"s097" is (the splice point of pins #6/16) It looks like the diagram says, blue wire on pin 1 of connector c-129? that then leads to the splice....somewhere?

So... What am i missing here?
