So in the middle of winter in PA, it can get quite cold. My car is also stored outside, so when I get in the car in the morning to start it up its starts fine and the OEM stuff starts up fine, but my gauges wont power up. Sometimes when the car gets warmed up they will power on, and other times not at all.

Should I look at cleaning the connections? I am also planning on switching from a micro battery to a full size one located in the trunk. Would that help?
