Battery relocation ?

Hey guys I bought the car with the battery in the trunk. I was wondering If the power and ground cable are correct sizes? Does it look like it to you? the red wire is for the amp to my sub and the clear wire is for battery. Clear wire looks thicker but ground doesn't seem as think to me?

That looks like 4 gauge to me. I just did a relocation and used 1 gauge wire. ( no audio system outside of stock unit)

i think the red one that goes to the amp is 4 gauge...the other one is a bit thicker but the wire inside is not orange like copper...does that matter?

Im not 100% positive but it still could be copper, it may just be discolored.

Found this for you, hope it helps

That was a good read. I think the wire is aluminum. According to the article to achieve the same conductivity with aluminum as copper the wire will be physically thicker and it will be lighter.
