Evo 8 GSR MMCS Language Help

So I have been getting straight to work with my RHD Evo 8 GSR and so far so good. I was playing around with this infotainment system and realized that there is like no way to change the language. So I decided to search this issue up and its been very outdated and I just wanted a clear answer on how to change the language. Since I imported the car from Japan its all in Japanese (including some buttons too). I am going to post a link below on how my infotainment system looks since a lot of threads that I have come across never have one similar to mine. There is a dvd player underneath the passenger seat which I am assuming is for the MMCS because when I accidentally clicked the eject button a MMCS CD came out with Japanese writing on it. Assuming maybe has to do something with the CD? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

If you look through my posts you'll find some information relating to the head unit you have.

Long story short, you can't change the language of the MMCS you've got as it is a JDM-market only option that includes SatNav but that only works for Japan. You're better off learning Japanese if you want to use the rest of its features, but even the AM/FM radio needs to be modified to work outside of Japan.

Some Brits encountered the same issues as you did; no idea what the outcome was though.

Is there any way of removing it? Its pretty much going to be useless at this point keeping it. Otherwise if there is a way to get a system that can be plugged into that screen which has gauges?

Yeah sure, just take off the front fascia and you'll see screws that allow you to remove the screen. A better way to go about it is simply to fabricate a mount that enables you to mount something like an Alpine Halo 9.

You'll have some useless buttons on the center instruments but you'll gain a touch screen display.
