Wire that is wrapped around the key cylinder
Does anyone know what this is for? I can’t find a plug for it and can’t find any information about it.

Looks aftermarket to me. I don't recall any wires wrapped around my ignition key cylinder. It wasn't plugged into anything?

aftermarket remote start. It sends the signal your key normally does for the immobilizer.
