Battery relocation advice

I'm going to be removing my mini bat, and getting a full sized Optima relocated to the trunk here soon, but after looking through all the relocation kits, I still can't find a clean way to terminate the positive lead from the battery in the engine compartment.

Half the 'how-to's' I've seen have the leads just wired up and stashed somewhere, which IMO is not clean nor is it safe.

I'm looking for something, like a mountable block of some sort, that I can wire the positive from the battery, and the negative to chassis, to, maybe something with posts on it, so I can wire up the stock terminals to it without modification, and in the event that I need a jump, I don't have to trip people out and have them pull up behind me lol.

Ideas?

you should use a distro block?

the downside is the stripping of the factory terminals.

I didn't want to sever any stock cables. I connected 1 gauge cable to the stock distrubution block, mounted it in a box on the firewall, and installed a 150 amp breaker in the trunk. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ocation-2.html

He is right, be sure to install a fuse or circuit breaker.......
