Downpipe??

Hi,

I'm trying to get downpipe but very confuse with it.

2.75 or 3 inches...

My mod:

K&N Typhoon Intake, HKS SSQV BOV, HKS 272 cams, AMS pulleys, TurboXS UTEC with 22psi, Cusco Oil Catch Can, Tanabe GF210 Springs, HKS TT, HKS Hi-Power Catback.

Should I go 2.75 or 3??

Which one is very performance for me?? I am not gonna turbo upgrade unless my turbo die...

I heard for stock turbo, 2.75 is the best. is it right?

and is HKS downpipe delete cat??

Please let me know guys...

Thank you

The bigger the better. Especially with 272 cams you're gonna want to get the car to breathe as much as possible.

Most downpipes do not delete the cat. You must get a test pipe for this.

Stock turbo and the 2.75in Bigger turbo and 3in.

3in with the stocker won't have much of an affect. Thats what ive read.

Also, the HKS DP does NOT delete the cat; it bolts between the O2 housing of the turbo and the cat.

It does not really matter unless you upgrade your o2 housing along with the DP. 3" is gonna be the best choice performance wise. But the stock o2 housing is only 2.5-2.75" , so you will have a slight bottleneck at that point, unless you upgrade it along with the DP.

My understanding is that with a stock turbo and 02 housing, you get a little better performance with the 2.75 inch DP. If you upgrade either, then the 3" is better

Nope. With a turbo motor the less back pressure the better. You get a little more performance when you upgrade the o2 along with it though. Do a search, you'll find some dyno results.
