? about wideband and AEM EMS
I'm going to be running EMS eventually, but I was thinking about getting the wideband part of it now. If I do this, how would I make sure what buy now works later?
So now, I'd buy the UEGO wideband kit. Then when I buy the EMS part, do I just buy the ems without the built in UEGO? Or do I still buy it with the built in part? I guess I'm not 100% sure about what's "built-in"

I've researched this bout a month ago too and while the AEM EMS is great and all etc etc....you probably don't want to use uego (seperate control box). Best thing to do for the A/F is to buy a wideband like innovative or zeitronix and have the analog output hooked up to the EMS o2 sensor input. The uego has a lesser range for A/F ratios compared to these 2 widebands....I've seen the zeitronix in person and it looks great and I have the innovative one myself but haven't installed it so I can't give a review of that yet.
I have the built in uego controller and it works fine. Less wiring than if you were to get it seperately and you dont ever have to worry about compatibility even though thats not really an issue. Its just convenient.
Sorry to hijack thread- but I am confsed as to the usefulness of the UEGO/wideband. If I get some place (like Turbotrix) to tune my ems for me, do I still need to get a wide band?
