What mods should i do first?
I'm just wondering where to start w/ the car. I guess money really isn't an option(obviously not too expensive), but I really want to keep the car as "stock" as possible. Somethign like full exhaust, suction kit, turbo manifold, boost controller. But I'm just wondering, what are my limits to the stock motor, which is the right exhaust, intake, boost controller, etc. for me. From what I've seen so far.... Here's what I've chosen so far:
1. Full exhaust that E.I. offers w/ proper tuning $2,400
2. Full Samco hose kit(intake and radiator) $72 + $200
3. Greddy Prfec B boost controller $400
4. SSQV bOV $300
------TOTAL---- $3,372
So yea... take a look... I'm taking all suggestions...

Here's what to keep in mind when choosing tuning parts.
Exhaust: internal diameter, smallest internal diameter part in exhaust, gas quantity and flow needed for what you intend to run to determine correct internal diameter, weight of exhaust system.
Boost controller: how fast does it control the boost? What type of selenoid does it come with? How can the boost be adjusted (according to what? Speed? rpms? gears? throttle position? etc.)
What gain could a SAMCO Hose kit possibly achieve?? Can your tuner / supplier / manufacturer prove that gain by an independant test?
BOVs: recirculating or athmospheric? AFM or MAP sensor? HKS SSQV?? Why do HKS sell an idle stabilizer for that kit?
I can say that the Samco hoses were just an idea. Yes thats probably somewhere I shouldnt worry about. Thats my whole questioning though, w/ the BOV if its going to recirulate or just let it be an amtosperic type. I'm really looking for minimal gains, nothing to crazy yet. Maybe 340hp would suffice for now. The only problem w/ the right sizing is that there really aren't a big choice around the U.S., a good example would be there is only 1 exhaust place that can manderal bend 3" piping. I also have some concerns w/ the I.D. of the exhaust and weight, but when the big manufacturers such as HKS, they are mainly one size fits that model. I DUNNOOOO, just too much stuff to worry about.

Sorry for a newb Q, but what is TME??
On a related note, I would start the modding frenzy as follows:
hi-flow air filter(do u guys prefer drop-in or cone/mushroom)?
cat-back exhaust
hi-flow cat(s) Anyone know for sure how many there are for the Evo8? Hopefully not as many as the WRX!
TURBO TIMER!!! (a must IMHO)
