Question Cams

I very close to ordering a set of new cams from JUN(272)
They offer 2 types of CAMS: SOLID and HOLLOW. My question is:
What the benefits and downsides of the two??

I think Ill go for the Solids...
my turbine stock EVO V(from a junkyard) with after-market Actuator(HKS).....But I really want 3037s But I need to beef up my internals and change 560cc injectors to maybe about 720cc. Which leads to me to my next question: After I change my internals.... do I get injectors BEFORE I purchase the turbine or can make do with 560's until my pocket book rises back from the dead again??

Yes it is..but like the HKS 3037s it requires external wastgate too. I don't know if I want to go that route yet(external wastegate) We have vehicle inspections every 2 yrs and external wastgates won't pass the inspection and I don't know if I want to go thru the headache of switching back and forth. But that decision is still a little ways down the road. (sometime next year) Right now I'm concentrating on the internals first. Doing the head (CAMS,Springs valves and porting) then I'll go for the block(piston, con rods and crank)should be fun but very expensive process. The guy at JUN never really recommended either way for the CAMS..the prices are same and I think I remember him saying they just put the solids in the their EVO V. I'd have to go back and read my letter from them. Let you know when I check the letter.
PS the largest actuator-type turbines I have found here are
Greddy: TDO6-20g
HKS: 2835
but I heard that HKS has what they call the RS series and SS series turbine both actuated but I don't know the exact size or even if they make for the EVO yet....so stay tuned
