Evo keeps stalling, help!

Evo keeps stalling, help!
My Evo 5 keeps stalling. If I hit the brakes and slow down real fast, the rpms just keep dropping till the car dies. If I am in traffic, it starts to flutter up and down under 1 rpm then turns off. Other times, the car runs fine. My car is an RS and I had AC installed but even when the AC is off it does this. It did not do this in the past. PLEASE HELP!!!
