building bottom end with motor in car?

im thinking of building the bottom end, but i definatly will not be able to afford pulling the motor to have it borred/honed. ive seen alot of people swap pistons and rods through the bottom so i know it can be done. thats not what im asking. i was thinking of going with eagle rods and ross pistons. what are some of the problems i may experience if i go ahead and do this? one of my friends with his b-series mtor didnt have the block machined and he had to rebuild it because one piston did even fit full(it was slightly too small and fell out when they tore it down) and they found shavings in the pan. im wanting to do something witht he motor before i install my new turbo beacause its a ballbearing and if i break something internally chances are i would have to get a new turbo because of something flying through it.

i really dont know why peps keep on using EAGLE rods. i have heard nothing but bad things from peps in the 1G/2G eclipse world. Good up to about 400-450whp then see ya.....I know bushur uses eagle rods but they machine them for greater fit and stability i think
