Greddy Evo2 horsepower numbers

I see the exhaust is out and a few members have posted about it. Anyone have any info about horsepower gains. I know it crimps down at the cat but I have seen other member with other crimp down exhausts makes good power.

My cousin installed his Greddy EVO2 exhaust yesterday, it made some good power and pulls hard above 5k rpms which the stock exhaust is missing. It has a clean straight exit and a more deeper throaty sound at idle and yes it tapers down going to the cat about 2.6 inch diameter. I will post some pics later.

Greddy advertises it is 80mm(3.15") is this true? I question since they list the EVO2 as a SP2 in their online catalog.

SP2 and EVO2 are 2 completely different exhausts.
SP2 exhausts have a big muffler design for good sound suspression.
EVO3 has the classic Nur Spec style canister.
SP2 will be one of the quietest exhausts thats why they are popular for RX-7 owners also.

Evo2 feels pretty good to me. I've had it on my Evo for a couple of thousand of miles. 3" 99% of the way. It does taper to 2.75" at the cat. A little more rumble at idle compared to stock. Butt dyno tells me it feels stronger midrange to redline.
