I would also trust them... go with ACT2600 (kit) I think my clutch is dying, with my bearing... at 25,000 not bad at all.

I would say AMS, but last time I checked they wanted to much for the install. You shouldn't have to pay more than $600 if even that.

Thumbs down

The guys at GRD don't seem to be too helpful! They only believe in the products they sell, nothing else! If you don't go APS, then you are not going in the right direction (thats what they think). Also, a couple of years ago I made an appointment with them to install a custom 3" exhaust on my old car. When I got there, they told me I had to wait atleast 2 hours untill they could put my car on the lift because one of the employees cars (and he is/was part owner) was going to be working on his car. I did have an appointment, but they didn't care. So I waited, and waited, and finally got my car on the lift just to tell me that they couldn't do the work. I told them what I had and told them what they needed to have to complete the install before hand, but no go. So they told me to go across the street to a shop and have them do it!? GREAT customer service!
AMS ALL THE WAY!!!!

I agree that AMS is the best place to have work done. Give them a call and I am sure they will be able to fit you in. They were able to get me in on the same day I called to have cams installed and it only took them 2hrs. to install them total. They know what they are doing, avoid GRD, they quoted me 8hrs for cam install and they are always overbooked.

AMS quoted me 1300 for new clutch, fluid, alignment, and install. For that amount of money I felt it would be better to buy the tools and learn to fine art of autorepair. This was for the ACT clutch.
