I have 47XX miles on my car now. No hard launch on my car . I do corner really hard and heel/toe a lot though. Today when I was driving home I was shifting from 3rd to 4th then I heard this very high peak whistling sound(sounded like elctrnical alarm, kinda like some of those car alarm/shift indicator) . It lasted about 1-2 second between 5000rpm-6000rpm. Then I shifted into 5th (4000 RPM or so) then after 2 seconds again that sound appeared again for like 1 sec or 0.5 sec. I tried redlining/decelerating 1st-3rd gears afterward. NO SOUND at all. Then the second I shifted into 4th the sound came again! Same to 5th(just a lot shorter than 4th). It didn't happen all the times though. Maybe 1 out of 4 times when I shift into 4th. Just now I took my car out with my camrecorder hoping to record the noise. But there was no noise at all after 15 minutes of driving.BTW I felt lucky that I flew by a cop in 4th gear at 80 over a 40 MPH street lmao. He was parked on the side of the road with his x'mas light flashing giving to ticket to another dude or something.
