You left out Ralliart which I've seen gaining 12whp at higher power levels.

Ralliart drop in gives you 5hp, see at Ralliart web site! not 12whp
I saw one post here with a dyno test with K&N, gave 4whp....

I had the monster sport filter but its an oil filter and it was leaving oil in the air box so i got rid of it and with hks. So between the two i liked the monster sport but it leaves oil so get the hks.

I have heard good things about K&N and their track record is very good for reliability and performance they have been around a lot longer than most other brands

I bought a used K&N panel filter. The fit and finish is good. Car drives very well and even saw an increase in gas mileage. From 17-18mpg to about 18-20mpg with the filter. I guess the ECU is learning to lean out a bit. Good product.

I also have their Typhoon intake, but didn't install it due to the fact that no access to a good tuner. It's used also and got it for a great deal. Might actually install it in spring/summer to see if it's good or not, on a generally STOCK Evo. Alot of people seem to have problems with it, with their mods... but we'll see.

I've seen people with the K&N Typhoon and weren't too happy with it. I think I'm going the vishnu route so a re-usable drop is what I'm looking for.

How are you calculating for MPG? Did you reset the ECM after installing the filter? I like mods for more power, but if I can have better MPG at the same time, it's like having your caking and eating it too... Just curious... Thanks...
