Is this the same header that evo8.com is selling? the PRO-1 EVO 8 Turbo Manifold with the anti lag ports? I am curious if I could use one of those ports for my egt gauge?

Yes it is the same manifold, and the ports are there for the anti-lag system. Im sure you could put the EGT in there but not really sure how accurate it will be since the probe will be out of the exhaust flow.

Don't do that, it will not be accurate if not installed in the exhaust stream. At that location, the probe would be very sheltered.

To install an EGT properly on one of these tubular manifolds, you would need a very competent welder to add a bung. Even then, you would add the possibility of cracking down the road at the site it is installed.
