EVO MR's and Buschur 3" turbo back?

I have heard reports of Heilex (sp?) down pipes not fitting MR evo's cause the transfer case is bigger and the down pipe hits it. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the Buschur set up?

I called them and was treated very rudely, and was told to email David Buschur so I did and its been a week and I have not recieved any word back. I have cash in hand and ready to purchase a full exhaust system but no one seems to want to help me out with the info I need.

If anyone knows of any full exhaust set up that will work with the MR please let me know. I am tired of being stock already and I can feel how under tuned this engine is.

Thanks

I dont see how the tranfer case would get into the way of the downpipe. But I have yet to be under an MR yet. Good luck! I would ask Shiv or and of the guys at Vishnu they have already been modding their MR maybe they can give you some insight. As far as Buschur it does make good power but quality is not up to others like HKS,Vishnu and is very, very loud even with the quieter Magnaflow muffler my friend had this same set up.

The person that answered the phone didnt really seem to care about my questions and didnt even seem really interested that I was ready to purchase. I told them if you could get me an answer I would purchase the full exhaust right then, but they just said "ummm... maybe you should try an email or something??!...."

So I did email Mr. Buschur himself, its been over a week and still no response. I left my phone # and email address and nothing. I am ready to purchase esle were now

That was Jarod you spoke to...how Dave could leave this chump in charge of the phones is lunacy...All ive ever received was RUDE and incompetant chatter....Dave is the nicest guy though, but he has chosen to trust Jarod to take care of the mail order!?!? Ive spent plenty there, but will not any more until hes gone.....He acts like no one should have questions and hes defensive, not helpful AT ALL.

share an experienced

hi, just wanna share.
I had MR JDm and already put BR TB w/BR muffler.
the exhaust is perfectly fit and nice sound ( but no growl sound like others)
First set up, the centre pipe hit the trans mounting, but after I reverse the cat delete pipe, they fit perfectly.
I don't know the if there any different between MR JDM and USDM.
I'd post this before in others thread, with pict of it installed.

About man in the phone, yes, I had same experiences with him.
But I don't know why, maybe he stressed with a lot of phone come.
But he actually send me an email a couples of time. Dave is more friendly.

All the 05s have larger transfer cases due to ACD.

Does not fit!

I have been sent 2 DPs from Buschur already, stamped "MR" and they DO NOT fit. I will call them tomorrow for a 10th time or so. They have been reasonable to deal with, but I am unsatisfied with the fact that it is marketed to fit MRs and does not fit (mine at least). the exhaust is so close to the transfer case that there is resistance when you try to slide 4 thin sheets of paper inbetween.

If you specify you need an MR downpipe, they will make sure you get the newer version that fits both models..The difference with it fitting the MR is the 6 speed , I believe transfer case is the same unit same position..

Specified x2... The issue is that the downpipe needs to be a completely different shape, in fact longer, than the non MR in order to clear the TC. When I called to ask whether or not they had an MR to confirm the design, they replied they did not. A little disconcerting for me.

I have an 05 and my Helix downpipe does NOT fit. I mean... its on there... but its right up against the transfer case, occasionally it will make a noise but not. I plan to get a different downpipe once I get some proper funding... still deciding which one to get... I was thinking BR since they make one just for MR or the 05s
