A few technical questions
A few technical questions
First question: I was reading some stuff about the OBD2 ISO outputs and supposedly the iso does read knock timing retard... is this just not shown on our cars or does it work? That would obviously be alot better than waiting till it pulls timing.
Second question: Is the Whinebro fuel pump honesly good enough and reliable enough for high horsepower figures. I know most people sooner or later switch to the larger Denso Supra TT Fuel pumps.
Third question: How much boost does the stock Evo 8 (Non-MR) BOV hold before leaking?
Fourth Question: This is for Dynoflash specifically. I read somewhere that you can actually have two flashes on the same ECU at the same time... doesn't seem possible to me but I dunno anything about it honestly. If so, how do you switch between the two maps (Assuming one is for race gas and the other for 93 octane). Is this even possible?
Fifth Question: Anyone have any troubles fitting 255's on thier stock rims and stock suspension? Any rubbing or anything?
Sixth Question: What is the highest boost that our stock turbos will push efficiently before blowing hot air? Assume car is built and can take whatever you throw at it.. I read somewhere that the turbo will push around 28 lbs and taper to 23-24 near redline and still be perfectly effective.
Seventh and final: Hopefully someone can send me some tables of thier car running well at WOT concerning timing. Im trying to get a feel for what most peoples timing is. Im used to DSM timing and the Evo seems alot lower.
Thanks for anyone that helps out with my many many questions.. I figured it is easier to ask all these at once instead of trying to ask in many different posts. Thanks guys!
