Yeah I saw it.....

I saw it there on a 2003 EVO with a GT40 turbo with AEM, TBE & Fuel Mods.

It was an electric supercharger that was tie to the EMS that provided 7lbs of boost in the 2000 - 3000 RPM range prior to the turbo kicking in.

They showed their first prototype of the system on the car and had one for consumers to test to show how much air it pushed through. The idea has been around for awhile, but since this is an electric supercharger it is more efficient than a typical supercharger. Their prototype needs better piping, but was a very small and compact and fit in well in the engine bay.

IF IT WORKS - and it is truly timed properly to tie in with the spool of the turbo it would greatly reduce lag on bigger turbos and make for better street drivability. I would have to see a lot of testing before I put in on my car to have a supercharger and turbo running through a EMS for a daily driver.....

They had dyno sheets of before and after the kit was put on the GT40, but I did get one. I email them for a electronic copy and will post it if they send it.

I would love to get the tuners - AMS, Vishnu, TT, Buschur thoughts on this.....

it draws 250 amps, it's big and bulky. In theory it should work but I'd have to try it for myself to be convinced.

Why not just use a single fogger 30shot nos to spool up bigger turbos??? Damn 250 amps must have a bank of batteries and that adds weight to a already heavy car...
