BOV Masters READ!!

Why does the SSQV still cause the engine to stall even it's recirculated!???
what the hell is wrong with HKS SSQV??
ANYone with a good answer please answer this question..

when it's recirculated, it works like the stock one; bypassing the pressurized air back into the intake system. So WHY does it still stall?? I just cant get it..
what's the difference it has then compared to stock bypass valve?? it's just like a normal bypass valve now...
please dont ask me to search..

Any good explaination is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

And which recirculated BOV doesn't cause engine stall?? any experience please share....
THANKS!

HEHE i understand your frustration. I think it has to do with the spring being much harder and able to hold more boost over stock. At idle I think it needs the BOV to leak air to the engine so it doesn't die. But because the spring is so hard it is unable to do so. Especially the ssqv is designed specifically not to leak. Its the small price to pay for such an intriguing sound.

reasonable... but just can't stand it when other people drive my car...
i am used to the bov... but they dont.. like my sister...
she can drive manuall but is not used to the bov character.. so it stalls many many times when its going to stop..

Anyone else???? need opinion.....!!

Anyone to back this up????

i had a the hks ssqv on my evo and it was also recirculated. It also stalled and fluttered. The reason this happens is because the valve isnt opening all the way because the spring is too strong and thats why you are stalling. also, if yours is fluttering, turbo surge is occuring. I didnt want to deal with all the bs so i went with the greddy type s. at first it was also stalling and fluttering when recirculating, but after i did the single spring mod, no more stalling and sounds great! in my opinion, higher pitched than the hks ssqv

Get rid of it!. That stalling is freaking dangerous! If plan to keep the bov you should warn anyone else who will be driving your car to slow down in gear before putting the car into neutral.
