What injector size???
Yep.. FWIW an upgraded stock turbo is much better for AutoX and most tracks that have fairly short straightaways (where you won't see much over 100mph).. big turbos are great for tracks that have long straights, and large sweeping turns that dont require alot of on/off throttle and tight turns where it would be more difficult to keep the engine in its boost sweet spot.. Or of course drag racing..
you can only determine what it is that you want.. I can only offer you the information I have available to me.. Enjoy the car, you'll love it no matter what you end up doing.

I'd like to try an upgraded "stock" turbo on the track. My experience with the bone stock turbo on three different tracks (VIR, BeaveRun & Summit Pt.) has been that while the lag is non-existant, it runs out of breath pretty quickly in any of the straights at all of those tracks. As far as retaining a boost threshold close to stock and having reasonable levels of lag, it seems that the 3071 variants are well suited. The BR440 I've got is great on the street and while I haven't tracked it yet, I don't think I'll be dissapointed with it. If I ever wear this turbo out I'll probably stick with the same basic turbo but with a ball bearing cartridge and an equal length header to improve spool and reduce lag.
Sorry for straying off topic.

In my case its a 10.5 Hot side, Titanium CHRA "Cartridge", 05/MR Compressor cover, and Forge adjustable Wastegate Actuator.. This would be roughly the equivalant of the JDM Evolution MR turbo (I think its a Ti impeller and shaft cartridge)
It doesnt appear to run out of breath at higher RPM, retains stable boost to higher RPM, less prone to boost taper, and thanks to the lighter titanium impeller the spool should be around the same as stock if not a little better... It'll definitely improve torque and should give you a wider power band.
Now back to the topic..
