If the boost gauge reading and the vaccum reading on the boost gauge are both wrong on a brand new stock MR 1 month old......

Alotta ppl are saying I probably have a boost leak of some sort...
What are somethings I should check into...I've heard BOV and Wastegate so far

I dont know too much about turbo engines..still learning, I plan on askin my friend with 97 turbo gsx to check it out for me since it seems like the mitsu dealerships dont know jack****. I wanted some advice so I can tell him when I ask him to check it out.

go race another MR and find out. lol

check your hoses and change your stock boost gauge, they suck.

 

If your friend w/ the 97 GSX mods his car any, he should know how to track down boost leaks.

The best thing you can do is build an intake leak tester, dudes in the DSM world know all about that. But that's probably overkill for your new MR.
