Injen intake/uip vs. hks rs and br uip
can't decide to go with the injen intake and intercooler pipe set which is about $350 or go with buschur intercooler pipe and hks racing suction intake, which will total out to be around $650. is the hks rs intake that much better? and also is the buschur intercooler pipe that much better? any thoughts on these?
I cant speak for the other things listed, but I have the Injen Intake with IC piping and I love it. I've had it for about 3-4 months now and no problems whatsoever. Not to mention, you get a free BOV (lol, well not free but you stock bov will sound like an aftermarket one)
i've install the injen set up on an evo owners car here, and i think its great.i've also done the BR piece, and installed the hks intake.i would go with the br/hks combo.you'll also get a mini battery to reduce weight with that combo.both are good choices
Depends on what you want and how far you want to go. The best air flow would be to make the least amount of bends (Need the smaller battery) but on the stock turbo you will barely notice anything (Probably can't at all). I would go the cheaper route... the filters themselves are pretty much the same, both piping comes polished, both fit perfect and both should yield the same power (Buschurs maybe a TAD higher if running alot of boost). And if you honestly care about the weight difference, take out your jack

I will never run a foam filter, they dont filter for sh*t.
Go take out your stock filter, knock it out, and look at all the dirt that would go right through the foam filter, not good.
