Downpipe + Testpipe

I've recieved these 2 pipes today 3" RMR S.Steel for both, I'll be getting my Ti exhaust next month.

How loud will things start to get ? and how much awhp can I expect from downpipe + testpipe + 80mm Ti exhaust? will there be any big difference at top end ?

ti exhausts are very loud... as in greddy ti even with silencer is barely street legal. the reason for this is ti exhausts are thin and therefore you lose a lot of sound dampening by shear mass of the materials, you get lots more resonances.

a full tb exhaust can get you 35 horses if all is done right, maybe even more, i'm sure some have claimed 45 but a lot of it has to do with how much tuning you're willing and able to do.

also depending on how much tuning you do, the top end could be dramatically different, especially if you get a boost contoler.

however if you're just referring to stock turbo bolt on exhaust nad no tuning, you'll most likely see an increase in spool a drop in midrange (maybe not fi your overall exhaust system has bumped you up) but most significant gains at the top end, as in your car will keep pulling until the boost taper really starts to have its effect.

Tuning is everything...I dynoed at a 50+whp gain with intake, turboback exhaust, boost controller and dynoflash.

Agreed. I made similar gains (40hp, 50ft/lb) with my mods and NO dynoflash.

Tuning is where the real power can be realized. I have to get tuning to maximize what I have. My local shop guy says there's at least 20whp more just in ECU fuel tuning....

Sounds Good!

No plans on getting a boost control at the moment, just a simple upgrade w/o electronics

Thanks guys!
