AMS DP w/RMR Lower Brace

Hello,

I have read various things on this site regarding the AMS DP and RMR lower brace. Has anyone used the AMS DP and was able to install the RMR lower brace. I am curious because I am trying to determine whether to buy the brace or swap out the DP. If anyone has some info please let me know.

Thanks!

If you get a well fitting downpipe (Helix, WORKS, HKS), you'll be able to retain your OE lower tie bars.

The RMR lower brace looks weaker than the OEM setup actually. It's a design that compromised strength to make room for their downpipe.

Actually, I just want to know if anyone has had the same combination. Running without a tie bar is my main concern.

there are two versions of our downpipe. The inital run did not clear the front bar and the rear needed spacing. The New downpipe released about 8 months ago clears both bars and would have no problem with aftermarket bars.
