Helix exhaust

I am no expert but I was thinking of buying this. Heres why I came to this decision All components are made by the same people. 02 hosing, DNP, Cat delete and cat back seems like fitment of misc. components would not be an issue.

So tell me some of the reasons this exhaust would be a bad idea. justify it too.

got mine about 2 weeks ago put it on LOVE it more then i thought i would.... i got the CF bumper sheild and come to find out the tip is slightly longer so i didnt need it o well... the exhuast look is AMAZING and just gets better once its on the car one the the more straight systems out thier performance wise its one of the top and the welds and look are Top knotch and the price!

downside.... it is loud it honestly doesnt bother me at all and i dont notice it much but friends driving next to me say at wot its loud. not like 4" civic exhaust falling off loud but deep and loud we used kinda a ghetto Decible meter in my car and did a few tests it was right around 100 db..

i personally love it performes amazing and i love the sound it also does come with a silencer

Sounds great. I had to bend my exhaust hangers to get the tip away from the inside of the bumper where it was melting it. With a more expensive exhaust you will not need to do this. It has good power and is very straight.

Installed mine today, Thanks Gruppe-S! Took me some time (couple hours) since I was in my garage with jackstands and I have limited skills...

I also took the opportunity to install a drilled out spark plug anti-fouler to get rid of my Inefficient cat cel. So far so good.

It's very straight, and not much louder than my previous setup at idle and low rpm cruising. At WOT it's much louder. In anticipation of more boost, I turned my Hallman down a 1/4 turn, but I still hit like 22 PSI in 2nd the first time I hit instead of usual 19-20. Spools fast now. I must add that it's loud, but it's deep and if there are no officers around you should be ok, lol.

Definitely a noticeable diff going from stock intermediate pipe and Bushur axle-back. Now it's all 3" with Helix DP and RT HF cat Very happy.

Take care,

i've had mine for about 6 month now, i love it. at idle it is not very loud but with a deep rumble, at wot people can hear you from miles away. i go under a bridge on my way to work, as soon as i get under it i floor it and all you can hear is a loud growl. if you add a test pipe watch out for unhappy neighbors , happened to me.

Will the Helix DP clear the Cusco Lab 1 and 2 front bars? I currently have both of these installed but I noticed with my Ultimate Racing 3" dp, the flex section hits the Lab 1 under soft acceleration. Also, with this mount up to the UR test pipe?

If so, I need a new DP immediately

Obviously speaking from experience.

That doesn't really even make sense. Just because the stock exhaust is the same, doesn't mean a larger one will fit. The MR dp has to clear the tranny and people have experienced fitment issues w/ certain dps. I simply want to know if this one has proven to fit.

Yes! the Helix 3" downpipe fits the MR!!! We test fitted one onto a White MR last night without much problems. The only concern was being to close to the larger TC due to ACD. But w/ Kartboy downpipe bushings installed, the DP would not move at all! Fits perfect! $199 shipped w/ free kartboy bushings! HURRY!
