Question for two-wheel dyno tuners

I am 95% sure but I want to be sure of this before I sound like an idiot...

I went to a shop today and they told me that my welded VC to make the car dynoable on a 2-wheel dyno is the same as a 1st G or 2 G DSM... I told them they were incorrect. If I hadn't they would have used it on my car. Was I wrong or them? Is the Welded VC different for Evo's than DSM's? Thanks guys!

Yes, it is different between the two cars.

Thanks David! I figured as much but the only dyno shop in Madison, WI didn't believe me. Thanks for making sure I didn't screw anything up! I doubt it would have even fit but if it had for some reason I could see bad things happening.
