My stocker was starting to leak after sticking some mods on and trying to hold it at 20. I got the MR and stuck it on...works great at holding the boost and I'm running the Injen setup.

The boost drops back down to 21 psi or so in the higher RPMs. I only do it for the hell of it on race gas (and I lean it out with an AFC) but I am wearing the turbo out more quickly. Is it worth it? Not if you want to have the stock turbo a long time. When it poops out I'll get the TME. I still recommend the MR DV for pump gas situations. I sold it cheap to my best friend since that is what he will be doing.

The MR Diverter on the Gruppe-S Engineering site will stop the fluttering my MR experiances above 5800 rpm?

It's solved mine. I just installed it today

Boost feels a lot better to me. It seems to react a little better/faster than the stock unit.

Any opinions on the TURBOSMART DIRECT REPLACEMENT BOV on the Buschur Racing site? It says it is a direct replacement. More $$.

I just installed my MR DV... The car feels "snappier" Quicker to respond and the MR DV is slightly quieter.. Also boost seems to hold well. No stalling issues yet but then again my stocker would stumble when I pulled in the garage with a slight rev and then pressing the clutch in fast. I'll have to live with it for a while to see what goes on.

Mine feels the same way hitman. I've stalled mine once pulling up my gf's driveway and stopping real quick but I've done that before with the stocker.

I don't see how it could be much different then the plastic one in terms of ill effects... Some evo's seem to stall easier then others. I have never "stalled" mine more or less "stumbles" on the very edge of stalling and that was with the stocker.

Ok so now I'm not having any problems at all. Not even a stuble as of yet. I installed/did a few things last night ... not sure if its related or not. Also it's warmed up a bit.. it was in the 20-30's now 40-50s.

I did the following:

- Installed Odyssey 680 Battery (which doing this reset the ECU)

- Installed HKS ground kit (which makes the car feel a bit smoother)

- Tightened up the hose from the BOV to upper IC pipe. It's impossible to reach this without taking out the battery. Now with the small battery I have plenty of room
