ok, now my boost is peaking at 15psi on the first gear and 20 psi on the rest.

I've set it for 20 psi.

lol

the in-cabin controller is a bad news. I just want to increase the boost every time I'm inside the car!

lol

I've set it at 20 psi, but drop it to 19.5 psi

grrr what a pain... lemme bring up this topic again.. hehe..

anyhow, this night, i was trying to install my hamman mbc. i have a hks rs intake, so i took off the whole thing, the whole intake, i didnt have to take off the fan anymore..

right now, im having a hard time just taking off the single vacuum hose going to the turbo nipple. everything else i removed already, just that one to the turbo is left. i even made a mistake when pulling it with my pliers and the hose ripped off, and therefore, i saw the gold restrictor pill.. (is this ok???)

anyhow guys, whats the best way to remove this hose?

chris

pliar. that's what I used. there's just no way for you to remove that. You could spray some wd-40 on your hands and rub it around the seal, then try to pull it out while rotating them side to side.

hehe, actually, i just been to that post over and over, also around 4 different threads about it. anyhow, it shows that you started the post. thanks alot for the great illustration!

anyhow, ill try doing the wd40 thing tomorrow morning... but pliers i was pulling it hard, im just scared to pull it very hard. the first time when i pulled the the gold restrictor pill ripped the hose.

what i do with the others is i put a flat head by the end of the hose and push the hose from there, but the turbo nipple i cannot reach.

if you can, go from underneath. You have to remove the undertray, but that's the simplest way to go about it.

otherwise, you have to squeeze in there pretty good, or remove the fan. <-- not that hard.

I wish someone would give a reason, and not just say "this is the best way" I did a lot of research and I thought the BOV line with the T-fitting was the best way so that's how I installed it. I mean I don't have any problems the way I have it hooked up, so should I just leave it?

That's how I did it in my Eclipse and how I did it in my friends Evo. Maybe someone can give us a reason for doing it the other way.
